We'll make a travel back in time to ancient Pompeii, the most important archeological site in the world. An entire city completely preserved as it was in AD 79 when a tremendous eruption of the volcano Mt. Vesuvius buried it under a 25-foot deep layer of ash and lapilli.
You meet our driver at the Salerno cruise port and from there you drive on the breathtaking Amalfi Coast road up to Amalfi town.
This medieval village was, in the Middle Ages, the capital of an independent republic, popular for its sailors and traders. Later, the driver heads to Ravello, the most elegant village of the "divine" Amalfi Coast. And, eventually, a tour of Pompeii, the most amazing archaeological site in the world, with a guide!
